Bad Guy by Malach Bad Guy by Malach
model: Pascal Steffan.

Brillant french actor I've been working with a couple of times. The shot was taken behind my atelier where we did some shooting for a commercial film I'm directing for a danish cyberpunk liveroleplay game, that takes place in Copenhagen this autumn.

Pascal had the role as the basic thug.. Larry porn-king kind of way... he isn't finished dressing up at this moment, but I like his energy in this picture. Anyway.. there will be more "bad guy" online in the start of july. I'll be posting a link for the movie.

Also check out ~LightParabol .. he was my photographer during the takes.. there is framegrabs from the stuff we're currently editing and colour-correcting, posted in his galleries.

enjoy.

Looks like a real bad guy, and because the picture is taken from "fr°perspektiv" <-- (dont know the english word for that) makes him look like a very superior person.

See that's what I like is when an actoractress is just loving their part, they seem to slide into it a little easier, yanno?
more passion, more involvement :)

it makes the bond more complete

the actor has to love the character.. (love/hate relationsships is okay).. and as a director or a writer you have to put some love into the characters as well. No slight detail should be without importance in one way or another.

It is a pleasure to work with a good actor.. it's a huge task. A freaking big responsibility to be working with.. shape everything, being able to answer to any question and then shape. It gets a very addictive thing to start shaping the world around you. Can't really explain why. I think I've started to find a nice balance between letting go of control and grasp it in the same time.

I still really would like to see what you could do with film, art visualisations and that kind of thing.

oh.. I got an idea the other day btw. After we had been talking about me being part of neo.. what do you say about me being guest-member in neo and you become guest-member in Art Star Collective when it comes up and running sometimes next year. I promise one thing at least.. I'll be doing my part the next piece of time to make some interesting stuff happen.

what do you say?
